How to find your accommodation during Clearing

Searching for a place to live when going to uni can be stressful, even more so if you didn’t get the grades you were hoping for or changed your mind on the uni / course you want to study and found yourself in Clearing. However, finding and applying for accommodation can actually be a breeze. Check out how you can find your ideal student home.
First things first

If you find yourself in Clearing, it is important you let student finance know about your course details and start to think about where you want to live.

Accommodation available

Newman University hold accommodation places for students coming to us through Adjustment or Clearing but spaces are limited:

  • Deluxe en-suite bedrooms – Cofton Hall
  • Standard en-suite bedrooms – Maryvale/Oxford
  • Accessible Standard en-suite bedrooms – Littlemore
  • Shared bathroom bedrooms

How to apply

You must complete and post back the original signed copy to us but can email your application form so that we can provisionally reserve you a bedroom and we will email to confirm this. We can only hold the bedroom for 48 hours (not including weekends) pending receipt of the hard copy of the application form.
