Faisal Mahmood, Head of Counselling and Psychotherapy, has co-authored with Emma Flax a chapter for the 5^th Edition of ‘The Sage Handbook of Counselling and Psychotherapy’, edited by Terry Hanley and Laura Anne Winter.

The chapter, entitled ‘Gestalt Therapy’, gives a detailed overview of the Gestalt approach outlining famous founders and figures associated with the modality as well as highlighting the main theoretical assumptions and theory of change.

Not only does the chapter reflect Faisal’s vast knowledge and passion for the approach, but it would be a useful resource for any budding Gestalist.
