Psychology Lecturer publishes article in Psychological Reports
Alexandra Kirby, Lecturer in Psychology, has recently published an article in Psychological Reports. The article, ‘Attentional Biases Towards Body Related Stimuli in Healthy Males: A Systematic Review’ explores existing research surrounding the effects of body-related media (e.g., images, words) on males’ attention. It is hoped that, by understanding these underlying thought processes, more can be done to tackle the ever-growing issue of male body-image dissatisfaction.
